OUR HISTORY
FOUNDED IN THE EARLY 1930s BY THE HUSTON FAMILY in North Plainfield, NJ, Huston Lumber has remained a trusted
building materials supplier for close to 100 years. Over the decades, it expanded its reach and offerings to serve both
professional builders and homeowners, carrying a wide range of lumber, engineered materials, doors, windows, millwork, and decking products.
IN 1977, OWNERSHIP PASSED TO THE COLSON FAMILY, and in 1985 Huston further grew by adding Felmley Lumber in
Oldwick to its operations. Growth was always about improving the customer experience with an unwavering
commitment to integrity, safety, and exceptional customer service. To expand service and quality even further, Huston
joined Trade Supply Group in 2025.
WITH SHOWROOMS IN WATCHUNG (NORTH PLAINFIELD) AND OLDWICK, Huston also offers personalized design services and dependable same-day delivery, reinforcing its reputation for integrity, service, and community commitment.
